The Other Place is 2.5 hours north of San Francisco off Highway 128 on a ridge above Boonville in the spectacular Anderson Valley.
Long Valley Ranch is 2 hours north of San Francisco off Highway 101 near Ukiah on the Boonville Road or Highway 253.

We are happy to provide certificates for a very special gift. You determine the number of nights or dollar value and the recipient makes the reservation. Gift Certificates can be purchased for Long Valley Ranch or The Other Place. Their dollar value can be used for either property. For those last minute gift certificates call ahead, we can arrange to send them prior to receiving your payment. Just call! |

To make a reservation or for inquiries:
2 night minimum. April, May & October have 3 night minimums on weekends. Holiday minimums vary. Monday through Thursday are midweek nights.
We are in the office from 8:30 to 10:30 am (at the least) Monday through Friday. We monitor the phones frequently so will return your calls ASAP!
Once you have your reservations, send us a deposit within 7 days in order to confirm it. WE DON'T TAKE CREDIT CARDS.

Make checks out to The Other Place or Long Valley Ranch depending on where you are visiting. We will send you back a confirmation and detailed map. Don't forget to bring it with you. Without it you will have a difficult time finding us. DON'T LEAVE HOME WITHOUT YOUR MAP!

It is impossible to offer early checkins or late checkouts. Our cleaning schedule can vary from 1 to 5 cottages each day.
If you arrive early, you are welcome to park on the property and hike. If you want to hike after checkout, load your car and park outside the fenced area.
THE COTTAGES are stocked with milk, coffee, tea, granola, organic apple juice and wine, as well as salt, pepper and sugar. All sheets and towels are provided.
For those traveling with your canine companions!
For dogs that prefer to nap on the bed, bring a sheet to cover the down comforter. For muddy winters and swimming summers, we recommend you bring several dog towels. Please bathe your dogs outside. We've had many plugged drains from our furry friends.
Because our rates do not include the usual cleaning fee for pets, we suggest leaving a tip for Etel and Mirna who do an incredible job maintaining the cottages "as though there had never been a furry friend". |
